Start a Property Preservation Business – Key Credentials | 3 Hours CE ($25)

January 10 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Property preservation and management can be a lucrative, reliable, and excellent business to be in.

How to make money in property preservation. If you’re looking to start your own business, there are many opportunities and options out there, but I’ve found property preservation to be a lucrative, reliable, and excellent business to be in.

During class, we’ll take a look at the ins and outs, requirements and responsibilities of the property preservation business.

Property preservation is the process of caring for the inside and outside of a single family 2–4-unit residential property, be it vacant or occupied. Property preservation and management businesses work with property management companies, banks and REO asset management companies, real estate brokerages to provide services such as repair, inspection, insurance claim management, and maintenance. Another great option is to work as a subcontractor for a company who also works with national servicing companies.

Let’s talk about:

• How to get started, license, business plan

• How to become a Property Preservation Vendor for the REO industry

• Overview of the wide range of jobs and task required

• Tools and equipment that you will need

• Inspection overview

• Completing various forms and photo requirements

• Submitting bids, invoicing and getting paid

• Review a list with national property preservation companies to work with

And that’s just the beginning. There is a lot to learn, but you can do it and if you want a stable, reliable business for many years to come, you should start right away.
